I had the worst morning, seriously. I don't even want to talk about it, it was so awful. I'll tell you this much - it has to do with my dog - who may not live to see tomorrow, the brat - my clothes, and the fact that I ended up having to take two showers this morning, and was late to work due to a mess and having to stuff things into the washing machine while trying not to smell anything.

I can still smell it. And I know I'm clean, and I'm even wearing perfume. *shudders*

Anyway, moving on from that horrific mess.

I had finally decided on hoarding keeping that Egyptian coil bracelet I made (and posted about yesterday), and then I realized about five minutes ago that I quite literally can't. Well, I could, but it would be pointless. That same allergy to metal that made my fingers suffer more than usual when making it, makes it impossible for me to wear it for any length of time. *cries*

So I've listed it in my Etsy shop, even though I am sulking about it. I know, I can make myself one in silver...except silver (for which I have much greater tolerance) and lapis do not go together quite like copper and lapis, IMHO. And I now have a necklace I absolutely have to make that involves some big chunks of lapis and copper Egyptian coil. :( When I make the rare item I can't live without, I either keep it, or make myself a duplicate and sell one. I've never run across this inability to have something I've made that I absolutely love before. It makes me very sad.

Still, hopefully someone will end up with it who will love it just as much as I do. I've never before lamented my metal allergy quite this much. *sigh*

I'm sorry about your morning and your bracelet.

Sorry I was such a cranky bitchy girl on the phone.

Is there anything you could line the back of the bracelet with so you could wear it? Like glue felt on it, or put nail polish on it or something? I know that's horrible, jewelry wise, but if it's just to make it wearable, and no one else would notice it, what's the harm?
