I'm having one of those days. You know, the days when you're in a bad mood and everything strikes you wrong and nothing feels good or happy or exciting? I came to work this morning to find two e-mails in my inbox that were nothing short of infuriating (personal friend drama stuff) and the day has not picked up from there. I am tired and cranky, and I can feel myself responding to things in a negative way when i shouldn't be.

I hate that.

I tried listing things to be happy about:

~ Going to see TDK on Friday.

~ My Kindle continues to rock. I just finished reading Magic Burns by ilona_andrews - what a great, engaging book. My first thought upon getting to the last page was "so when is the next one coming out??" Always a good sign when it comes to reading a series.

~ Not all my friends are gripped in personal drama. Thank God.

~ Beta response to Nemesis is so far largely positive, though this does not seem to stop me being negative today. I am steering myself away from even thinking about it as much as possible, because my present mood is not helpful to either my ego or my writing. Stupid mood.

As you can probably tell, none of these things has helped. I continue to be cranky and otherwise negative. I need something to pull me out of this funk and cheer me up.

Current Mood: blahblah

Ooh...a Kindle. Is it worth the money?

And the two Magic books are on my to-read list.:)

Dude, I LOVED the two Ilona Andrews books I've read so far. So neat and original, unlike a few other urban fantasy type things I've read that seem to all blur together. Can't wait for the next one!

*send you positive vibes*

Aw :(

If I could ship wildly attractive soccer players to your doorstep, I would. Perhaps they could double as eye candy AND beta readers! Now imagine that. *faints*
