Cold and sunny. Brrrrr.

Well, I made it into work today. Largely because the town a couple miles over where hubby and father-in-law both work as teachers, they got NO SNOW, and therefore no ice! Apparently, they closed yesterday because the storm had hit everywhere around them, and they...IDK, sympathy closed? Perhaps worried about their teachers making it in? Except today conditions are unchanged, and they're open, so who knows. In any case, they were going to work (thank GOD. Hubby does not do well with enforced idleness), so I had them take me into work as well, in the 4x4 rig with the snow tires on.

So it's me, and about twenty other employees on a site that normally has over 80. Heh. :) Just call us diehards.

Or people who don't want to use up all our leave on snow days, when there's another storm due to hit tomorrow, and yet another on Sunday.

We've had intermittent internet at our house, probably somehow due to the weather, so it's kind of nice being at work and having it all reliable.

Yikes! You're going to get another storm on top of the one you just had??? GOOD LUCK!

We had LOTS of rain yesterday. It was wonderful. Today, the snow level on the mountains has dropped almost to the foothills and it's BEAUTIFUL!

It was 39 when I came to work, which is nowhere near as cold as it is in your area, but is VERY cold for us.

Yes, we're preparing for the next "Snowpocalypse". Supposedly the same chant as the last "Snowpocalypse" which turned out to be about two inches. But we also are supposed to get another dumping on Sunday.

We'll see. Scott's already planned to work from home tomorrow, and ironically, I'm working Wednesdays and Fridays from now until Jan 6. Oh, the irony. We'll see if they open. At least it's just down the hill from here for me.
