Elimination Diet - Day 4  
Well. I'm not hungry on this diet, but things I am already tired of:

avocados (which I normally love)

olive oil and balsamic vinegar (which I normally love)

coconut milk - I think if I am not careful, I could develop a hearty dislike of this stuff. I normally like it fine, in curries. That's my next thing, thanks to kistha this weekend I'll be attempting some curry sauces that don't include the pepper one normally finds in it. And thanks to purple_shoes, I'll be trying a lamb spinach curry dish. Because next on the list of things I'm getting tired of is:

chicken

Also, finding things you can cook and eat on this diet is not easy. At all. But about twice as hard as that is all the things you can't eat, no matter how much you might crave them. Jeez. I've got...20 more days until my appointment where she tells me what to add back in. The way I understand it, she'll pick one thing, like dairy, and I'll have to eat something like three portions of it as pure as I can get (a glass of milk, cheese, etc) for three days and see if I react. Hopefully if I don't react, that thing will get to stay in my diet as we add the next thing back, say, wheat. I'm just guessing, though.

Cooking for other people has never been less fun than it is right now. I don't blame my husband for not going on this torture diet with me - he would die, for one thing. Probably pass out on day 2.

Well, back to my coconut chicken salad with balsamic vinegar dressing. *sigh*

ETA: I think it important to note that as much as I love and adore my coffee (and miss my lattes *weeps*) and as often as I drank diet coke, I was not, apparently, addicted to caffeine. No caffeine headaches at all, and I haven't even had my morning cheat since Wednesday, such as it was. Truly, the lattes were so unappetizing with milk subs that I have given them up altogether. Nice to know I'm not addicted. On the other hand, what I would do for a real latte right now....I hope dairy is the first thing she adds back in!

I don't know if you saw my reply some days ago regarding the new diet. If you desire something milk-ish. Try Rice Milk. It tastes way better than soy or coconut milk. =)
