Kindle for sale!
So, as I said a few months ago when I sold my husband's K1 and upgraded him to a Kindle 2, I have another K1 up for grabs. My friend who bought hers within weeks of me getting mine is taking the upgrade plunge.

Here's the goods:

I have a used Kindle 1 for sale in excellent condition, with a chocolate brown M-edge genuine leather cover. All original accessories included (except the original cover, I think, but it might still be in the box) and will be shipped in the original box.

Some titles on the Kindle are:
The new Janet Evanovich, Finger Lickin' Fifteen, and Plum Spooky
The Psy/changeling series by Nalini Singh
Linda Howard: Burn, and Death Angel
Naomi Novik: His Majesty's Dragon
The new Nora Roberts, Vision in White
And many others.

These will remain on the Kindle so long as you don't delete them. Once deleted, however, you cannot get them back.

Asking $200 in the form of an amazon e-gift certificate, shipping included in the price.

I've also posted this on a kindle foum, the same one where my last K1 sold within the day. I remember someone on my f-list was interested when the last one sold, so i'm posting this here as well.

Well, IMO, yes. You could ask kistha and dthon what they think as well.

I know when I got mine, I was convinced I was only going to use it "sometimes" to help keep bookshelf space free. I use it ALL THE TIME.

The husband was a complete skeptic, but once he got one he fell in love, and it's also how he now prefers to read.

Much as with our iPods for music, we will not be without our e-readers with e-ink screens for reading.

Plus, bonus, it makes reading my friends' manuscripts so much easier!

I believe dthon and kistha are slightly less OMGKINDLE!, but still enjoy theirs quite a bit.

lately, my reading has dwindled to nearly nothing, barring the newspaper while listening to Keith Olbermann at night, and the manga in the bathroom. where i normally would be sitting down with a book or three, i've been busy working on my knitting projects (and i'm starting the xmas projects once i'm done with my current wip). i'm able to knit without looking at my stitches most of the time, but deadtree books don't stay open unless i break their spines (which i refuse to do. i'm a papertarian at heart) can you read the kindle and still do other things?

A friend of mine was interested when the last one sold, and she has since purchased one.

Sadly, I am interested but am saving my pennies for other things. Although I am hopeful that, if I'm really good, I might find one amongst the prezzies this December...

I hope this one sells quickly!
