I need either a gallon of coffee, or approximately 600 years of sleep.
I went to bed at midnight last night. My dog woke me up at about 2:30am to let her go outside, and then I couldn't get back to sleep. For no particular reason I could see. I laid there for about two hours, wide awake, and finally I got up and went out to watch some more Legend of the Seeker. If I was going to be awake anyway, I might as well be doing something.

Of course, around 6:00 in the morning, I finally crashed and wanted nothing more but to go back to sleep, but by then it was time to get ready for work. So here I am, sucking down coffee and wishing the end of the day would hurry up and get here, already.

Oh, and btw, it is currently 9 degrees - 9 freaking degrees outside! That's got to be a record. At our coldest, in the dead of winter, I think we've only been down to like 12. If it's going to be this bloody cold, the least it could do is snow enough to let me stay home in my nice warm bed. But no, it is dry and sunny. *sigh*

Apparently LJ is not deliveirng comment notifications? I came into today and found a bunch of comments on my last couple of entries. I think I've replied to them all. (On the Christmas Spirit entry...thank you for all of your comments! I'm trying really hard to resist the urge to post something that says "Really, guys, I am not that awesome!" It is a heartwarming story, because it had a happy ending. I hope it continues to.)

I'm going to try and go write now, although I'm a little worried about how it's going to go on two hours of sleep.

That so totally sucks. I'm so sorry for you - I hate working with no sleep. Wish I could send you some instant sleep units.
