More adventures in jewelry making
Remember how excited I was that I soldered a jump ring closed last week? Well, that's nothing to how I feel now! Last night I made an actual ring, shaped, soldered, sanded, hammered, and tumbled, then wrapped with phrenite and aquamarine. The pics, sadly, aren't very good, but:

I have it up in my Etsy shop now, with a couple more pics. I could have left a plain textured band, but I wanted to dress it up a bit. Sadly, it's too big for me, so someone who wears sz 7 will reap the benefit of my experimentation. But I do plan to make one for myself tonight, and I've got an order on the way for some materials to really experiment with this weekend. We'll see what results from that! I'm going to try bezel setting some cabochons and using them to set some rings. *fingers crossed*
