I have just been informed that the basic stone wrapping class I will be teaching this month at the local bead store is "over full", meaning the first session has seven people scheduled, and the second the maximum of six. The seven is because of a mother/daughter pair that signed up together before the store owner realized it was so close to full.

Ah! I shall try not to freak out too much. I am going to go to a class being taught there tonight, on wire basics (the prerequisite for my class) which apparently filled up because it's a prerequisite for my class. The lady who teaches it was all "Hey, thanks!" Anyway, this way I will get to meet some of the people in my class early, and get a feel for their learning curve ahead of time.

Although it concerns me that these people are going to go from learning P loops and eye loops straight to stone wrapping. Some people can do that, and some people need more time to practice.

AND they are already asking about more advanced stone wrapping classes for next month, so next months schedule will probably be one basic stone wrapping class, and two advanced stone wrapping classes (ie, free form). Which will probably be the norm for a couple of months. (Hopefully. If they ask me to add anymore classes, I will have to figure out how to juggle that with the day job.)

I mean, this is good. If it keeps up, I may be able to go part time at the day job like I'm hoping come November. I'm just sort of nervous.

Go, you, go you!

I hope all goes well, and it continues to grow so you can make more shiny things!

I'd give you the "don't be nervous" spiel but it would be trite and wouldn't work anyway.

Be nervous! It's a good kinda stress this time.
